A Seat at the Table

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.” — Psalm 23:1-3

The Reflection

In the busyness of our mission and the pursuit of the Great Commission, it is easy to forget that we serve a God who invites us to rest. We often think of “discipleship” as only hard work and study, but true discipleship begins at the feet of Jesus.

At RDMI, we say there is a “seat at the table” for you. That table isn’t just for work; it’s for fellowship with the Father. Today, if your soul feels weary, remember that the Shepherd isn’t driving you forward with a whip; He is leading you toward restoration. You don’t have to earn your place at His table—you were invited.

The Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for being my Shepherd. Today, I choose to rest in Your authority and Your grace. Restore my soul as I seek to serve Your family and fulfill Your Commission. Amen
